I run this car blog because I care about preserving and sharing automotive history. Life is demanding, time is limited, and reader support helps me keep publishing without turning the site into clickbait or locking it behind a paywall, but like many independent projects, this one exists in the margins of normal life. I balance the blog with work, family responsibilities, and health challenges, which can make regular publishing difficult. Support helps me keep the project alive and growing.

I do not require monetary support. I have a day job and all blog activity is in my free time – which makes consistency difficult. Your support helps me keep the blog active, improve it over time, and dedicate more energy to writing and research.

I am NOT in dire need of money. If you think of supporting me because you believe I won’t make it till next month – this is not that situation. But I will welcome your donations, because if they help me not have to work a day in a week, then I can spend that day on the blog and up the tempo by a little.

I care about writing pieces that are enjoyable to read and worth returning to later – not rushed content made just for clicks. I want to gather knowledge about cars and serve it in an interesting way. I always had my personal problems regarding health, but in recent years they grew enough to consume most of my free-of-work time. I have been in consultation with my neurology department for at least 7 years and went through some procedures in 2025 – and now have suspicion that all this time I’ve had a mild level of autism. In the meantime, a child was born.

And that complicated things for me significantly. She has gone through a rough birth that ended in emergency C-section. She is significantly more autistic than me. And as for me I am not sure – we just have a suspicion – but many specialists have seen my daughter and they are 100% positive. I do receive government benefits due to her special case. Adding to it, she has had repeating cases of epileptic seizures. She requires extra support at school and in daily activities.

While the situation is not dramatic – concerning, but not dramatic – it does consume practically all my free time. Walking from doctor to doctor handling my daughters case as well as my own, is exhausting. That is why I decided to start the Patreon support page. Not to become rich, but if it eventually helps me not have to work a single day in a week, but spend it on the blog, then texts would already appear dramatically more often. I must honestly say that you do not have to worry about my wellbeing, but if you do want to support me, then I welcome you with open arms.

I tidied up a little. We have so many texts on so many cars… and the manufacturers’ count grows too big to leave it on the side for constant scrolling. Instead, I put everything in one page. I think that’s the only option for now. I also fixed Jaguar texts – it didn’t show one language. Now both English AND Polish should show without problems.

Sorry about the long break – my all life fell onto me last year. I am slowly bringing everything to working order. I will continue retrieving the new articles from the page that is lost, will update old texts to new standard and publish fresh text as frequent as I can. I have a few ideas on how to refresh this website and likely will introduce some support if you like my online activity. Fear not – my content will never be behind paywall. BTW. My instagram account was hacked – someone hijacked it and started posting some russian porn, so the old account is banned. You can follow me on a new inst: srt.art.blog.
